With its eye-catching and charming orange sign, Zamami Shokudou is a restaurant located along Route 329, facing the Nakagawa convenience store, at the northernmost tip of Kin. Managed by husband and wife, Satoru and Miwako Zamami, Zamami Shokudou has both table seats and a tatami area, and is child-friendly. Its take-out menu also makes it a great option for picnics.

“We aim to offer just plain good food,” says the owner. He speaks modestly, but the owner jumped straight into the world of cooking via vocational school after he graduated from high school. His dedication to flavor is even seen in the combination spices he uses in the curry. Supposedly he can make the curry as spicy as you like, upon request. There is also a spicy version of the Chicken Nanban, “HOT Chicken Nanban,” available, which is sure to please those fond of spicy food.
