Food WAGAYA
Gets crowded at 2 am!? A place where you can enjoy karaoke and darts where people from Kin Town and Ginoza village gather.
“Wa Ga Ya” is across the street of the new lot with the power plant. It opened in 2015. Here you can play darts and sing karaoke.
“I can’t sing but I’m good at darts and the pool tables,” says Yoshikatsu Kurane, the master who runs “Wa Ga Ya”, a place known for filling up around 2a.m.
“The guests are about a 50-50 split between Kin-cho and Ginoza-son residents. Most people are around 40 years old so we get some big groups. We also have some female clients drop in on their way home from work at restaurants and such. My recommendation is the “Soki” Okinawa Short Ribs Soba made by the lady owner,” said the master. If you’re a little hungry in the middle of the night, we recommend the Soki soba for you to enjoy.
“I’m not good at talking so I you probably don’t want to come to me for advice, but come out to see me anytime!” said the master. He’s being very humble but he’s a great listener. Come out and try a visit with the master at Wa Ga Ya!
