SHIVA Indian Cuisine, which opened in 2013, accepts take-out orders and is located on the pedestrian-only road located in front of Camp Hansen Gate One.

While it may appear that 80% of the guests are foreigners, there are also times when one will happen upon elderly locals visiting for some late-night takeout.

All staff members are Indian. Furthermore, it is surprising to know that all of the staff members have been showcasing their abilities at a five star Indian hotel for more than 10 years.

Homemade naan is baked-to-order in a tandoor charcoal kiln which was ordered all the way from India. This fastidiousness is because “Naan baked in a tandoor is far and away more delicious than naan baked with gas.”

The butter chicken curry and garlic cheese naan are highly recommended. The naan is piping hot and the butter chicken curry is just slightly sweet. The flavor and feel are both thoroughly Indian.

By all means, try the freshly baked naan and authentic Indian curry made by Indian chefs who welcome you with a smile.
