“Karaoke Room Koyuki” is located on the southwest corner of Shinkaichi Active Park. Right when it opens at 5:00pm, it becomes a gathering place for the regulars and local grandpas.

The store mascot is Momo-chan, a poodle. She is very calm, and loved by all. A happy sight for dog-lovers.

More than half of the songs are Okinawa folk songs. Amazing. However, it also has pop music, chorus music, military songs, and songs in English! A very wide selection of songs!

7:00pm is the peak time, when grandpas arrive after playing a game of gate ball or golf. You will see foreigners on the weekends and later in the evening. Local grandpas and the foreigners request songs from each other, and enjoy each other’s company. A unique scene that you can only see in Kin-cho, Shinkaichi! If you come at the right time, you might be able to enjoy both Okinawa folk songs to Western music.
