“Itomaru cafe” was opened in 2016 in Shinkaichi. From the sky blue walls and cute tables to the glass cupboards and interior design, the husband and wife owner duo made everything by hand, and the tables and interior are arranged comfortably, so you can really make yourself at home.

The owners welcome young people and families with young children. The cafe has even been outfitted with a changing table with that in mind, so families with babies can rest easy.

The owners recommens the “french toast,” the “taco rice,” and the “hot sandwiches.” Soaked for a full day in a house-made egg mixture, the french toast has a crispy exterior and a moist interior. The thick-cut bacon hot sandwich is great for those times when you want a little snack. The “taco rice,” made with house-made taco meat and taco sauce, and topped with fluffy egg omelette, is also worth a try.

Each cup of coffee is individually brewed with care using a single serving pour-over brewer, using coffee beans from Uruma’s “Tettoh Coffee.” Enjoy a cup of strong, full-flavored coffee with your meal.

The cafe’s name, “Itomaru,” is the husband and wife owners’ daughter, Ito’s nickname.
